I’d love to say Venice was my favourite city I visited, but I think I would say that about every city in Italy… I went to Venice with the au pair Mum and the little boy, we stayed in the Mum’s parents holiday home there and so I got the locals tour around the city. We walked around the city, over the many bridges looking down the beautiful canals, we also took the water bus from the train station to our house. Due to being with the little boy, we didn’t go inside any of the attractions, however we still managed to see them all, along with a little gondola ride across one canal. The city is absolutely beautiful and once you go outside the main centre, it’s so peaceful and lovely, however the centre is very crowded which made it a little harder to enjoy, but nevertheless it was still amazing!
